He's more awake after the laughter was startled out of him and now under the warmth of the blankets, he runs over every last moment of last night. There's no regret, not even a hint. He's nothing but happy. This is progress. This is something he can at least figure out how to navigate better than the awful silences and awkwardness. He still doesn't have any idea of how to do relationships, but that, too, they can figure out.
There aren't that many heroes with relationships that he's aware of, but it would make sense that they're kept out of the spotlight as much as possible. In the worst cases, it'd paint a target on someone's back. Would us dating do that to Todoroki? Then again, they both get into so much trouble that at this point their enemies are probably pretty shared. That probably shouldn't be comforting, but weirdly, it is.
